Entities, Crud and Features

In this section we begin to explain the fundamental components that are needed in order to use Geppetto . We will start by creating a new application that we can use as a ticketing support system similar to what you would use when submitting a problem ticket to online retailer

What are Entities

The generated application can be run using one of the three different options outlined below

What is a Feature

All you need is the latest GA version of Docker to run the application. If you want to enhance the code then you will need the latest version of NodeJS , Angular or React (Alpha)

For Mobile applications we recommend that you install Vs Code and the ReactNative extensions

By default Geppetto generates Dev Ops code to deploy your application to AWS Fargate. Since we use GitHub to manage the code we also use GitHubActions as our default DevOps tool.
